This workshop is aimed at beginners and improvers who are keen to dive a little deeper into the fundamentals of fused glass. In this 4 hour workshop you will create your own piece of fused glass to your own design, following the fundamental principles behind successful glass fusing. We will cover the foundations of planning a piece including essential technical knowledge through to designing and creating your pieces. Ages 16+ Under 18’s must be accompanied by a participating adult.
We are very flexible with our ability whether it be weekdays, weekends or evenings. Once you have purchased your workshop we will be in touch ASAP to arrange a date and time to suit you.

This workshop is aimed at beginners and improvers who are keen to dive a little deeper into the fundamentals of fused glass. In this 4 hour workshop you will create your own piece of fused glass to your own design, following the fundamental principles behind successful glass fusing. We will cover the foundations of planning a piece including essential technical knowledge through to designing and creating your pieces.
All workshops are fully supervised and you can create your own designs with all the technical support at hand. All materials are included. We even provide tea, coffee and biscuits! Pieces will be fired overnight in a specialist kiln and will be ready for collection within 72 hours. Alternatively these can be send via courier to you for an additional P+P cost. Each workshop accommodates up to 4 people at a time currently although we hope to be able to increase this in the future.
We will cover:
- Basic 'rules' for successful fusing
- Design considerations and inspiration
- Use of accessory glass and inclusions
- How to cut and assemble glass
